The superventilated hydrated lime is produced by extinguishing the calcium oxide, obtained through cooking in vertical furnaces, by a high purity limestone (CaCO3>98%).
The use of Hydrated lime ranges from the chemical industry to the construction field, from the tanning industry to water purification. Hydrated lime may also be used for the consolidation of road beds, airports and shipyards. For particular uses, see the technical details of Microcalce.
