Natural consolidating agent based on saturated aqueous calcium hydroxide solution
Description:PALLADIO CONSOLIDA AC is a natural, transpiring consolidating agent, free from synthetic additives
and solvents, suitable for the partial consolidation of stone supports of carbonate origin
or of mortars of aerial or weakly hydraulic nature.
PALLADIO CONSOLIDA AC is obtained by the manual withdrawal of calcium oxide (quicklime)
from the surface water present in the quenching tanks after a stagnation period of more than
one month. This water saturated with calcium hydroxide, suitably processed, guarantees an important
consolidating power, able to penetrate deeply into the porosity of plasters and mortars
based on aerial, weakly hydraulic or natural hydraulic lime.
After suitable curing, the calcium hydroxide crystals will be transformed into calcium carbonate
capable of consolidating the silicon-carbonate matrix of the substrate to be consolidated.
PALLADIO CONSOLIDA AC is a high penetration product that does not change the appearance
of the treated surfaces and does not form any obstacle to the passage of steam.
PALLADIO CONSOLIDA AC is an ideal product for consolidating / regenerating plasters or
mortars based on airborne or weakly hydraulic binders or carbonate-based stone materials.
PALLADIO CONSOLIDA AC is indicated as a component for the dilution of the products PALLADIO
CONSOLIDANTE and PALLADIO LIME PAINT.
